    Face Cosmetic Surgery Cardiff

At your initial consultation, Mr Karoo will conduct a thorough assessment, review of your medical history, clinical examination and a full discussion of your particular expectations and concerns.

The nature of any proposed treatment will be explained in detail including the procedure itself, recovery time and anticipated result along with any potential risks of the operation.

The consultation fee is payable after your appointment and can be made by either cheque, cash or card. Importantly the fee also covers any further preoperative visits as required for more information before considering surgery.

Surgical Fees

Most cosmetic surgical procedures are not covered by health insurance. A detailed quote of the total cost will be given to you after your initial consultation so that you are aware of all the costs involved before deciding on surgery. The fee will cover costs related to your inpatient stay (accommodation, medications, routine investigations), theatre, surgeon and anaesthetic fees. It also covers all post-operative visits and any necessary management of complications.

For those surgical procedures that are covered by health insurance (usually Reconstructive Plastic Surgery or Cancer Surgery), you are advised to contact your insurance company to clarify your level of coverage before the operation. Individual policies can vary considerably and sometimes excess do apply.

Mr Richard Karoo is registered with all the main insurers – BUPA, Norwich Union, Aviva, AXA PPP, Legal & General, First Assist, Royal Sun Alliance, Standard Life.
